The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Rail Quality Manager for a major project in Sydney. The successful individuals shall be engaged on a long term basis ensuring the quality and safety elements of the systems element of this Light Rail project.
My client is a market leading firm who have a large number of high profile projects around the world and lead the market in metro and light rail projects. Working as part of an international team supported by resources from head office and also local contractors the scope of work could run for many years. This is one of the largest and most desirable projects in the world
Job Role / Responsibilities
The successful individual shall be experienced in ensuring Quality, Cost & Delivery processes are in place and being implemented according to the customerâ€™s satisfaction. The nature of the role shall require someone to liaise with the client to understand his requirements and communicate with colleagues and contractors to ensure equipment and service delivered according to the project.
It shall be critical for the individual to be able to develop a shared Safety & Quality ethos across the project. Other duties that shall be the responsibility include FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), QMS (Quality Management System) & SQA (Software Quality Assurance) for Power Supply, Signalling and all other systems associate with a project of this nature.
7 years experience of working with substations and railway networks
AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 and Railway Safety standards.
Previous Australian and ideally New South Wales urban projects.
Knowledge of local regulations
The salary package is negotiable dependent on experience for the right individual but would be between AUS$120,000 â€" AUS$135,000 and package.
