Our client are involved in a largescale railway projects in Qatar and are looking for O&M LRT Manager to develop the LRT operational & Maintenance strategy in terms of planning, development, and management of Company Service Delivery Department in relation to delivery of operational services for LRT project.
He will develop strategies to restore & recover services affected by operational incidents, bad weather, staff shortages or equipment failure, and acts as a focal point within Service Delivery in incident management and liaises with the emergency services and agencies for assistance;
Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, Facilities or Operational management or other railway related area.
Membership of Institute of Railway Operators or other relevant professional engineering associations desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of general operations and or maintenance management experience.
• Formal or hands on prior experience of ideally an operational LRT in an engineering and maintenance discipline such as signalling, rolling stock or civil engineering. Additionally, a general manager role in an operational LRT in either a Stations, train or integrated operational control room environment is desired
• Working knowledge of train scheduling, train utilisation, control centre operations, station operations, train operations and depot operations;
